A North Georgia man wanted on multiple felony charges has been returned to Rabun County following his arrest out of state, authorities said.
Deputies with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office traveled to Texas on Monday, March 9 to take custody of 29-year-old Brennan Luke Fogarty under a Governor’s Warrant tied to charges filed by the Sky Valley Police Department.
After completing extradition procedures, Fogarty was transported back to Georgia and booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the evening of March 10.
Fogarty faces several felony charges, including aggravated stalking, terroristic threats and acts, violation of a family violence order, and harassing phone calls.
The charges stem from an investigation conducted by Sky Valley police.
Officials said the sheriff’s office coordinated closely with other agencies to facilitate the extradition and ensure Fogarty’s return to Rabun County, where he is expected to face the charges in Superior Court.
Fogarty remains in custody at the Rabun County Detention Center as the case moves forward.
