Where do you want your business to be a year from now—and do you have a plan for getting there?
The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center is offering business owners an opportunity to take a closer look at that question during an upcoming webinar, “Improved Planning = Improved Profit.”
The live online program will be held Thursday, August 20, from noon until 1 p.m. and is designed to help business owners develop strategies that can strengthen their companies today while preparing for future growth.
Participants will learn four strategic planning techniques aimed at helping businesses increase growth, improve employee retention, and build stronger operations for the future.
Strategic planning can be especially important for small businesses, where owners are often so focused on the demands of day-to-day operations that long-term goals can easily take a back seat. Developing a clear plan can help business owners determine where they want their company to go, identify potential obstacles, and establish measurable steps for reaching those goals.
The one-hour webinar offers participants an opportunity to step away from daily operations and focus specifically on the bigger picture of their business.
The cost to participate is $29.
The webinar begins at 12 p.m. Thursday, August 20, and registration is available online through the UGA Small Business Development Center.
