The Habersham County Airport Commission will meet Tuesday, August 11, to discuss several items related to airport operations, development, and future planning.
The meeting is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. in the Executive Conference Room on the third floor of the Habersham County Administration Building, located at 130 Jacob's Way in Clarkesville.
Following the call to order, invocation, Pledge of Allegiance, and public comment period, commissioners are expected to approve the minutes from the July meeting and review the airport's financial report.
Airport Manager reports will include updates on fuel sales, airport revenues, and the latest information regarding airport projects. Commissioners will also hear an airport update from Rebecca Collins of Kimley-Horn, the engineering firm assisting with airport planning and development.
Among the items scheduled for consideration are recommendations to approve a CAA agreement, an executed agreement with Kimley-Horn, revisions to the Airport Commission's by-laws, and lease amendments for the Curcio H1 and H2 hangars.
Commissioners will also discuss available hangar sites and review a request for proposals (RFP) related to future development opportunities at the airport.
The next regular meeting of the Habersham County Airport Commission is scheduled for Tuesday, September 8, at 9:00 a.m.
