Warmer weather and springtime fun are just around the corner as the Old Clarkesville Spring Market prepares to welcome shoppers and families to the Habersham County Fairgrounds.
The market will take place Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. inside the enclosed pavilion at the fairgrounds, located at 4235 Toccoa Highway in Clarkesville. Organizers say the covered venue allows the event to be held rain or shine.
The annual event is designed to help residents “shake off winter” and celebrate the arrival of spring while supporting local artisans and small businesses. More than 80 vendor booths are expected, offering a wide variety of handmade and locally produced goods.
Shoppers can browse one-of-a-kind items including pottery, original artwork, handcrafted jewelry, woodwork, natural bath and body products, artisan foods, apparel, and other unique finds. Many vendors will also accept custom and commissioned orders.
The Spring Market is also family-friendly, with activities for children and live entertainment throughout the day. Kids can enjoy bounce houses, meet the Easter Bunny, and visitors can watch a performance by the Hey Y’all Cloggers while strolling through the booths.
A variety of food, dessert, and drink vendors will be on site, providing refreshments throughout the day.
Organizers are also currently accepting vendors. Businesses and artisans interested in participating can request an application and additional information by contacting Beth Palmer at 706-244-2863 or emailing
Community members are invited to spend the day shopping local, enjoying food and entertainment, and welcoming the spring season in Clarkesville.
