Historic Mauldin House to Showcase Legacy of Beloved Artist and Historian John Kollock

The Historic Mauldin House & Gardens will celebrate the life, art, and enduring impact of one of Northeast Georgia's most beloved storytellers and preservationists during a special exhibit opening later this month.

The museum is inviting the public to attend the opening reception for "John Kollock's Path to Clarkesville," a temporary exhibit exploring the artist's deep connections to Clarkesville, his family history, and the work that helped preserve the stories and heritage of the region.

The reception will be held on Friday, June 26, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Historic Mauldin House & Gardens, located at 458 Jefferson Street in Clarkesville.

Guests will have the opportunity to tour the exhibit, meet members of the Kollock family, and learn more about the man whose passion for art, history, and storytelling left a lasting mark on Habersham County and beyond. Light refreshments will be served, and admission is free.
