School Bus Involved in Accident on Highway 365; No Students on Board

Habersham County — A Habersham County school bus was involved in a traffic accident Friday afternoon, February 13, along Highway 365.

According to school officials, the accident occurred at approximately 2:50 p.m. while the bus was traveling northbound on the highway.

Superintendent Patrick Franklin confirmed that no students were on the bus at the time of the accident.

The bus driver was not injured, and the driver of the other vehicle involved also reported no injuries.

The Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene and is currently investigating the incident. School officials say additional details will be released once the investigation is complete.

Habersham County Schools emphasized that student safety remains their top priority and reiterated that the bus was not transporting children when the accident occurred.
