Habersham County Family Connection to Host Free “Baby & Me” Event for Families

Habersham County Family Connection is inviting local parents and caregivers to a special community resource event designed especially for families with infants and young children. The “Baby & Me” Event will be held on Tuesday, February 24, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Career Center located inside the Cornelia Goodwill.

The event is completely free and aims to connect families with helpful services, information, and much-needed supplies. Families who register and attend will receive free diapers, wipes, and additional goodies to help support the care of their little ones.

Organizers say the goal of the event is to make parenting a little easier by bringing multiple resources together in one place. Community partners will be on site to provide information and assistance, including representatives from Georgia Power, medical providers, insurance providers, and several local organizations offering helpful family services. Attendees will also have access to free income tax preparation assistance.

Events like this not only help parents stretch their household budgets but also connect them with programs that can benefit their children’s health, safety, and development.
