White County Woman Charged With Murder

A Cleveland woman has been charged with the murder of a man in White County.
 
Rita Joan Sanders-Luse, 66, was arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of 41-year-old Mitchell Smallwood after deputies from the White County Sheriff's Office responded to 911 call on Tuesday, June 30.
 
When they arrived at 32 Happy Hollow Road just south of Cleveland, deputies found Smallwood's body. 
 
At last check, Sanders-Luse remained in the White County Detention Center without bond.
 
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting the White County Sheriff's Office in the ongoing investigation in order to determine a motive, among other pieces of evidence.
