Victim Identified From Overnight Stabbing

UPDATE: September 10, 2019 
The victim has been identified as Jesus Gilberto Arizaga 20-year-old male who resided in Habersham County, Ga. 

Original Story - On September 8, 2019, at 5:11 a.m., the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department received a 911 call in reference to a person stabbed at a residence in the 5600 block of Archer Drive in northeast Forsyth County. 

Once Deputies arrived, they located an adult male inside the house deceased with stab wounds. At the same time, occupants of the home identified an adult male suspect. 
The suspect was detained by FCSO Deputies at the driveway of the home.

Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Detectives, along with our Crime Scene Investigators, are investigating the incident. 

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 40-year-old Jesus Olvera Gonzalez from Forsyth County, Georgia for Murder. He is currently being held without bond in the Forsyth County Jail. 

Corporal Doug Rainwater said in an email statement, “The murder investigation is still active and we can cannot release much info related to the case.”
