Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) admitted to hospital following fall

Washington - After a fall in his apartment in D.C. late Tuesday night, Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.), has been admitted to George Washington University Hospital. 


According to spokeswoman Amanda Maddox, Isakson who is 74 years of age, suffered four fractured ribs due to the fall.


“He is in pain, but resting and doing well,” Maddox states. “Senator Isakson looks forward to fully recovering and getting back to work for Georgians.”


Representative Doug Collins sent his thoughts out to Isakson, stating in a Facebook post, “‪My thoughts are with Senator Johnny Isakson tonight. Praying for a full and speedy recovery.‬”


Isakson is said to be resting and doing better.
