SEC Championship Preview:
The #4 Ranked University of Georgia Bulldogs (11-1) find themselves as a 13 point underdog to the #1 Alabama Crimson Tide (12-0) in Saturday’s match up for the SEC Championship.
With the winner being almost guaranteed a spot in the College Football Playoff, and despite no top analysts picking UGA to win this game, many have at least thrown out the question of, “what happens if UGA wins?”

Georgia beating Alabama
Relieves them the stress of trying to select between a schizophrenic Ohio State team and a Oklahoma team that 's allergic to playing defense
Would be this:
Why is the conversation being had "If Bama loses, they should still be in". I think they are the best team in country and will beat Georgia BUT if they lose maybe we should consider that WE WERE WRONG ABOUT BAMA.— Danny Kanell (@dannykanell) November 27, 2018
Pure and simple, Georgia wins they're in. Bama is out. Period.
As far as the game goes, all eyes are on Alabama QB, and Heisman front runner Tua Tagovailoa. A 70% passer who has thrown for 3,189 yards and 36 TDs, has also only thrown 2 INTs this year. On the other side, many are looking at UGA CB Deandre Baker to be the kryptonite to Tagovailoa’s Superman. Baker is acknowledged as one of, if not, THE best lockdown corner in college football right now, and will force Tagovailoa to check down or look to his 2nd or 3rd options more often, something he hasn’t had to do much of all season.
The RB tandem of D'Andre Swift and Elijah Holyfield(16 TDs and 1,858 rushing yds combined) also appear to be up against their biggest challenge of the year in the Alabama front seven seven on defense. Led by Dylan Moses and Mack WIlson (127 tackles between the two). Stat to watch, UGA has not lost when Swift has scored a rushing TD in the past two seasons.
The game can be heard live on Newstalk 96.7 WCHM-FM at 4:00 PM, pregame starting at 12:00 PM.
