Freshman State representative Victor Anderson finally has a desk in the state capitol building - not only that..he has a seat on three different committees. One is Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications. Anderson worked for Georgia power for a decade previously and asked for this assignment. It’ll be a more important committee this session, given that Governor Kemp made broadband access a top priority in his recent state of the state speech.
Another committee he’ll be sitting on is Governmental affairs. He’s already working on legislation that will help city and county governments, in effect, hide their cyberterrorism defense plans better from would be scammers.
