Habersham County Sheriff Office Receives H.E.A.T Grant

Habersham Co. - Habersham County Sheriff’s Office recently announced it received a grant for $19754.59 from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS). 

The grant, which will continue through September 2020, will help finance the continued maintaining of the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office H.E.A.T. Unit which strives to reduce traffic crashes with injuries and deaths inside Habersham County and the State of Georgia.    

“The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety is committed to keeping everyone safe on our roads and highways, from the smallest precious cargo to the most seasoned drivers,” said GOHS Director Allen Poole.
