Former Governor Nathan Deal Endorses Bo Hatchett For State Senate

Habersham Co. - Former Governor Nathan Deal officially endorsed Habersham attorney Bo Hatchett for State Senate.

Hatchett posted the news on his campaigning social media, writing “Our community, our state, and our country owe the Governor and Mrs. Deal a debt of gratitude. It was an honor to work under Governor Deal in Atlanta and to receive his support in this race. Governor Deal is a true statesman and I will work hard to continue his legacy of unwavering commitment to our Northeast Georgia values. I am humbled that proven conservatives, like Governor Deal, trust me to represent Senate District 50.”

Deal has a long history of service to our country and state, including serving as a Captain in the Army, criminal prosecutor, and a judge, before being elected a State Senator, a U.S. Congressman and ultimately the 82nd Governor of Georgia.

According to the release, “He has deep roots in the district and remains passionate about electing principled conservative candidates to office.”

Deal had the following to say about Hatchett:
“I have had the opportunity to know Bo Hatchett and his family for what seems like generations. Bo worked in my administration. I have witnessed firsthand his character and work ethic and know he will serve us well in the State Senate. He is a strong conservative who North Georgians can trust to represent our values. Sandra and I invite you to join us in voting for him in the May Republican primary.”
