Cornelia Man Remains in Jail For Sexual Exploitation of Children

Habersham Co. - A Cornelia man remains in jail on two counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children.

The GBI Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at Daniel Jennings’ residence in Cornelia, during the execution of the search warrant, devices were seized from the residence.  

“Forensic examinations were conducted on the devices at GBI Headquarters and files of suspected child pornography were located,” says GBI Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit (CEACC) Special Agent in Charge Debbie Garner.

On Wednesday, Jan. 29, Jennings was arrested at his residence and transported to the Habersham County Jail.

Jennings is currently booked an has a bond of $11,200.

The Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is housed within the Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit (CEACCU).  The mission of the ICAC Task Force program is to assist state and local law enforcement agencies in developing an effective response to cyber enticement, child pornography and the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC).
