TROUT TALK WITH ANTHONY RABERN

More Info

Located in the Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center's meeting room.

Anthony Rabern, Wildlife biologist for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, will join SRWA to give a talk about emerging issues and diseases facing trout populations in the southeast.  Rabern will focus particularly on the threat of whirling disease, a highly contagious disease affecting salmonids which causes them to "whirl"- i.e. swim in circles, preventing them from eating and escaping predators.
